Bribe rules Pakistan !

Pakistan may not be making headlines in the world on corruption these days but contemporary discourse within the country has been focused on the issue in the recent past. In fact there is a discernible pattern over the years where concerns about corruption dominate discourse for some time and then seamlessly other issues take over public imagination. Meanwhile corrupt practices continue in one form or the other, only to raise their head again
The obvious question to ask is that in spite of so much concern for so long, why has Pakistan failed to effectively reduce corruption? Is it because of a lack of effective anti-corruption strategies? If that is so, then why can international or regional best practice not be adopted? The  answer to these questions are inside the heart of every single Pakistani who is doing corruption on the smallest of scales even, who is taking or giving bribes for whatever sake. Corruption and bribery are interlinked in fact are directly proportional to each other, eradicate one of these two from the society the other one will vanish itself. Pakistan can never become a successful nation without eradicating these two menaces from the society because bribe and corruption are responsible for the dismal state of Pakistan today, still nothing is lost authorities and individual all need to step up and realise there responsibilities, realise that they are Pakistanis and they have to do something in the interest of Pakistan. Our country needs us more than ever before  eradicating bribe and corruption from our country would surely help us get back on track, and it is upto every single Pakistani to help Pakistan get rid of this issue.

Asif Wins The Championship For Pakistan: We should be proud!

Two-time national champion Muhammad Asif, who was unbeaten in the tournament, won the title after defeating England’s Gary Wilson 10-8 in a match lasting over nine hours. Thirty-year-old Asif, from Faisalabad, is the third Pakistani to reach the final of the amateur World Championship as well.
This was Asif’s fourth appearance in the tournament. His previous best run at the event was last year; he was ranked among the top 32 cueists at the time. Asif started off his campaign in Bulgaria with confidence, defeating Australia’s Vinnie Calabrese 5-0 in the first round. He overcame Egypt’s Wael Talaat 5-2 in the pre-quarterfinal, crushed Syria’s Mer Alkojah 6-2 in the quarterfinal and outclassed Malta’s Alex Borg 7-1 in the semifinal to make it to the final. He started Sunday’s match confidently as well, taking a 6-3 lead at the end of the first session in the best of 19-frame final. The 30-year-old continued the match at 7-5 despite Wilson’s break of 111 in the 12th frame. However, Wilson regained his focus in the subsequent two frames, equalizing the score 7-7. The two battled in the 14th frame. Asif claimed it only to lose the next one as Wilson forced the break of 59 in the 16th frame. Asif bounced back, however, leading 9-8 and sealing victory in the 17th frame at 64-0 to clinch the trophy.

I am happy, Asif’s win is good news for Pakistanis, especially considering everything bad that is going on in the country. Asif has just opened the door for other players in Pakistan. He just made history and I can tell you that he changed more than his own fortunes. His victory at the world championship will help Pakistani snooker in a great way.

SAVE Pakistan

Now or Never!

Pakistan is a beautiful country located in the heart of Asia with many advantages .However; this needs serious prospectation .For the past two decades, Pakistan has experienced a very serious problem regarding terrorism. Pakistan’s involvement in the War against terror created even more problems that it became a nightmare. Now in Pakistan no place is a safe place and the general publics have become numerical figures being bombed and shot every now and then. Pakistan has successfully coped with other countries when it comes to terrorism but a blame game starts when it is their turn to cope. Menace of terrorism is slowly eating the roots of a strong State. In addition to this, the problems like injustice, illiteracy, poverty, unemployment, food insecurity and political imbalance add fuel to the fire. Obviously this is a problem which cannot be ended in a fortnight thus a long time is required to combat this multi-faceted problem. Now is the time to save Pakistan. If not now than never. the question raise here what are outcomes and strategies which combat the sovereignty of Pakistan no one else come from outside and  resolve this problem only country lovers who are sincere with their nation and who serve their blood for  the contribution of Pakistan and these are the people who truly love this country. Here one question raise in my mind who are these bomb blasters? Think by your self are these individuals  belong from Muslim community or they don’t have inner feelings which feel the pain of victims Pakistan is the country which has lost many resources and minerals which strengthen the sovereignty of our country and on other side we have experienced and intelligent individuals who always serve for their nation but what are the circumstances which weakened our nation only one word come into my mind education why does we invest in this field and get better result in future but  we still unable to find reality that without this step Pakistan geared into darkness and our young generation divert their mind into other worst activities like criminal activities or drugs. Government of Pakistan does not subsidized for education department only 2% of total income set for educational institutes and rest of the amount spend to meet different irrelevant expenses. The expenses of the maintence of prime ministers house garden more than the educational expenses and still our Politian’s prove their selves that they always serve for country and their face expressions in talk shows reflect the sincerity with this country.

A Need for Translation of Words into Actions

Islamic Republic of Pakistan has been at a decline and we can relate ourselves to the devolution that we have experienced over the years. A state created in the name of Islam and built on the idea of Islamic practicing and teaching can ever be so deviated from its natural fitra to return to one God. History is a witness to the fact that no nation has declined but due to the affliction of eternal strife. What is amongst us that has led this nation to a decline?

It is the changing ideology and influence of the world that is driving us to the door or destruction. Really, the dilemma our nation faces today is that it is so highly impressed by the customs and culture of the West that we reject the Pakistani and Islamic culture, and in the words of Marcus Garvey, “A people without the knowledge of their past history, origin and culture is like a tree without its roots.”

A revolting mindset exists in our society, but the negativity in it is that from a long time, following the western trends and etiquettes has been considered far more superior than adapting the morals and values of the Pakistani culture. This psychological disease is so widespread that our nation is at serious loss because we do not realize the beauty and the crowning benefits of our customs and culture that have mostly been derived from our one religion and one way of life whom Allah (swt) describes as “Perfect”.
The intuition between Islam and the Pakistani culture is so well weaved, that implementing it can lead us to a standard of living and dying much higher than the one we follow.
The perfection Islam brings to our culture and its superiority over the western culture can be settled by comparing the simple essential; language, clothes and eating habits. The use of casual and slang linguistics in the western world seeks no boundaries to age or gender, whereas our beautiful language Urdu (originating from Arabic) addresses the elderly with respect and the young and the weak with tender love.
Further, the western culture promotes cleavage and wearing of revealing clothes, as a symbol of freedom and intellect, whereas as Tawakkul Karman responds to queries about her Hijab in the following words proving the Islamic ethics right. “Man in early times was almost naked, and as his intellect evolved he started wearing clothes. What I am today and what I am wearing represents the highest level of thought and civilization that man has achieved, and it is not regressive. It is removal of clothes again that is regressive back to the olden times.”
We are a blind nation as the effects of western imperialism and that is what we have imposed on ourselves. They tell us to wear high heels, we wear high heels, they tell us to wear low heels, we wear low heels, they tell us to wear “Baggies”, we wear baggies, they tell us to wear “Tights”, we wear tights, they wear the jeans half way down their back side and we start wearing the jeans the same way, but have we ever thought that nobody wants to see the colour of our boxers? Yet we claim to base our lives on rational and logical arguments. We do what they tell us to do, because knowingly or unknowingly we have made them our role models and we need to go back and start making our own people, our role models.

If we look at our communities, how defunct and divided they are and this is a reflection of the confusion that we have been bought up to with the influence of the west. We know how to blame others, blame others without realizing the fact that when we are pointing a finger towards someone, there are 3 fingers of the same hand pointing towards us, teaching us that in order to succeed we need to change and blame ourselves, for when we will blame ourselves, we will surely change ourselves. When we translate our talking into actions we will be able to change ourselves and change the World. If revolution came through talking then we would have had a revolution every hour but what we have learned from our rich history is that the men of action are men of revolution.
The West may have obstructed our thinking but it has not blocked our brains, and we need to think and perform together in order to attain a life worthwhile.
Western culture may have been labeled free, liberal and human but the Pakistani culture is based on the ethics of Islam which are complete and absolute.
Islam has been the way of life that when Abu Bakr (R.A) followed, he bought the two superpowers of the day to their knees and when Umar ibn khattab (R.A) followed, he provided us with examples of economics, prosperity and management of the state that we could never find elsewhere. These people are the ones whom Allah (SWT) is pleased from and we need to follow these examples as role models that will lead us to a united and functioning nation that will stand together with its own identity (Insha Allah).

Education - The major problem in Pakistan !

For any nation and country to be succesfull education holds the key, The emphasis of every country should be on increasing the litracy rate of the country because without any doubt it is education which makes or breaks a country.
Pakistan cane into being in 1947. Since then it has faced numerous challenges, All of these issues are major and are badly effecting our society. Perhaps the greatest loss comes in the area of education. Whether or not this is a direct result of Pakistan's economic problems,it is undoubtedly connected with so many resources directed towards the aforementioned debt payment, educational improvements are given and inordinately low priority. Without strong and good litracy rate a country can never flourish because it is education which leads the nation towards success. Education has been the major problem for pakistan right from the begining, There are many problems which Pakistan is facing due to poor literacy rate, A poorly educated population is unlikely to participate in family planning or any other form of population control. Secondary,a poor educated populace makes Pakistan a poor choice for the foreign investors that it so desperately needs. needs. Further more, the extremely low literacy rate among Pakistani women lends itself to a society where most women never enter the labor force, creating less incentives for them to limit the size of their families.
Without education one can not get a good job and can not even earn enough money to run his house or takecare of his family this in turn increases the poverty rate leads to many crimes and etc. The government however are just not realising the importance of education for the nation and for the country Education must be made a national priority no less important than national defence. Unfortunately, while most Pakistanis can proudly recount measures taken to protect national security, few know the state of education in Pakistan. This year the budget allocated for education was DISAPPOINTING, because it was very much less then what it was expected to be. Pakistan today has got derailed and can only get back on track if the government promotes education, educated people will surely help Pakistan to change in a positive way and will surely lead the country towards prosperity and success.
