Injustice in education gives birth to conflicts in our country

System of education is different for different classes of people. There are two major system of education. One for rich that is English medium chains of schools with expensive uniform, expensive school activities such as school functions. But schools for poor are government schools with Urdu medium of education and no updated syllabus no proper buildings and shelter for students, students gets education in open grounds. No schools for poor with proper seating arrangements or any facilities etc. Fee for poor and rich are different. There are different categories of schools with different fees for the same class and students. Rich feels proud to pay high fees and poor just pay with great difficulty. There are different fee schedules for government schools and rich private schools.Admission criteria are different for rich and poor. People with money are privileged to get admission anywhere in the world, whereas, poor seeks admission for basics with great difficulty. There is no place for poor in institutions of high standards.

This different education builds different mind sets of people which results in occurrence of conflicts in the society. A very common example for this can be seen that people who have studied in mudrassa have soft corners for Taliban and al-Qaida where as the people of English medium sees them as a threat to whole human kind

We should try to eliminate illiteracy and different education systems for rich and poor. we should introduce the education system through which the education is same for rich and poor. Our government should take proper and practical initiatives   to bring illiteracy rate down and give quality education and equal opportunity for students in urban and rural area. We should provide basic health facilities to the poor people which are living in remote area s so that we can reduce conflicts from our country

United We Stand, Divided We Fall

Survival of Pakistan has never been as difficult as it is today, from the very first day of its inception Pakistan is surrounded by many challenges. Our opponent thought this state will not last long but Pakistan was made in the name of Allah; as the Muslims of subcontinent demanded a separate homeland where they can spend their lives according to the principle of Islam.
It is now our duty to respect the lives of our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for their generations. Today Pakistan is facing even greater threats. It’s a do or die situation for Pakistan, it’s Now or Never. Whether we safe Pakistan or lose Pakistan. Our enemies are getting stronger day by day, minute to minute. We cannot just sit on our hands, our thinking how worse situation have become. We have to do something and we got to do now.

Pakistan has more than 60% of its population which is youth. Youth is very important for the development of any nation. As youth is always considered as “nation builders”. Youth can not only impact its role in development of economy but also upbringing of morale and practically support their nation.

Pakistan is 7th nuclear in the world and very mighty when it comes to weapon and army but very weak when the subject of unity comes up. Our people are divided, we have build up so much social differences that we now consider us separate nation. There is a huge contradiction in our thoughts. We should always remember the quotes from our wise men who said “united we stand, divided we fall”.

Our youth has a great responsibility to check the differences and stand united. For this purpose joints session should be held where representatives from different mindset should get along for a consensus. In this worse situation it is very important to remove internal disputes. It is the time now that we should start showing some maturity over the present prices and awake from lumber sleep. We should focus on gravity of problems and think for their solutions. To counter all the problem it’s our first duty to get educated and impart civil education to secure better future. Hence youth can play its significant role in education of our citizens. Education is one of the basic problems. Education should need not to be associated with high fi schools or over educated lecturers. Instead healthy education and passion to educate is required.

As we all know that Pakistan is surrounded by multiple crises and without the active participation of youth, challenges cannot be met. It is very encouraging that majority of our youth support democracy and they want peaceful change. We should always remember that peace is the road to prosperity. The scenario become even optimistic when studies showed that majority of the youth also want to get volunteer but only 17% want to work for existing political parties. It is the dire need of the our that a positive leadership likes Quaid-e-Azam to come up and lead the youth through example like Quaid did through his ability, skills, passions and hard work. Motivations and encouragement is very important to boost youth. A major problem our youth is facing is that our youth is being discouraged, exploited and humiliated by corrupt lobby but youth should keep in mind that our journey is hopeless but we should develop optimistic thinking.

We now have to work for our youth because youth is frustrated, they do not get jobs, no healthy entertainments. Our education lack quality and skills which is necessary to survive in the world which claims the survival of the fittest. Our education even suffers from discord; there is no single education system rich get different from the poor. Our universities have become degree distributing institutes. Recent studies have shown that Pakistan is the 7Th most corrupt nation in world which faces poverty, child labor, suicide, unemployment and many other problems. As majority of population is youth hence these problems are also faced by youth. If youth is in problem the nation is in problem and on the other hand if the young majority of our nation work hard and fight for a good life then it will also help the country to rise up from destructions of poverty, unemployment, corruption and instability. It is now our youth to represent themselves and  their country through different mediums of communications including print and electronic media. Youth can bring the invaded heritage and culture back to its original place. Governments along with youth can boost up the process of development by getting good and encouraging teachers, avoid politics in education, start campaigns for education and target 100% literacy rate, prevent brain drain, providing right men for right job, youth should be at arm’s length from bad corrupted companies. We are surrounded by crises and problems but it should be kept in mind ‘crisis breed opportunities’.

If we allocate and utilize or recourses efficiently then we can be among the first world nations too. More over we have to change our attitude and approach to be based on sensibility, responsibility, tolerance and patience.

Bribe rules Pakistan !

Pakistan may not be making headlines in the world on corruption these days but contemporary discourse within the country has been focused on the issue in the recent past. In fact there is a discernible pattern over the years where concerns about corruption dominate discourse for some time and then seamlessly other issues take over public imagination. Meanwhile corrupt practices continue in one form or the other, only to raise their head again
The obvious question to ask is that in spite of so much concern for so long, why has Pakistan failed to effectively reduce corruption? Is it because of a lack of effective anti-corruption strategies? If that is so, then why can international or regional best practice not be adopted? The  answer to these questions are inside the heart of every single Pakistani who is doing corruption on the smallest of scales even, who is taking or giving bribes for whatever sake. Corruption and bribery are interlinked in fact are directly proportional to each other, eradicate one of these two from the society the other one will vanish itself. Pakistan can never become a successful nation without eradicating these two menaces from the society because bribe and corruption are responsible for the dismal state of Pakistan today, still nothing is lost authorities and individual all need to step up and realise there responsibilities, realise that they are Pakistanis and they have to do something in the interest of Pakistan. Our country needs us more than ever before  eradicating bribe and corruption from our country would surely help us get back on track, and it is upto every single Pakistani to help Pakistan get rid of this issue.

I Wish for a Pakistan!

I am a 20 year old boy, living just like many other people of my country, studying in a university and living a normal steady life. Let me just take you on a small tour to my past so that I can clearly put forward my wishes my dream and my aim and goals.
As a young teenage boy I was learning a new thing about the real world on every passing day. For me it was exciting yet confusing. I use to had so many jumbled up queries and questions in my mind that sometimes I just had to stop and try to freeze my mind for a while. However there was this one person always there for me, always ready to answer the most senseless questions that I had. This person was my Father (AGHA JEE). Every person has one role model, a person they wish to become like, in my case it was my father. As a kid I tried to adopt all his actions, listen him actively and ask him questions on any matter my mind use to come up with. This eventually resulted in a way that for me was truly beneficial. I learnt a lot of stuff from my father about the way of life and about my country Pakistan.

So, coming back to the present date. I would not call myself patriotic because what I analyze of myself is that so far I have not done a single thing that benefited my country and its people and the overall progress of my country Pakistan. However, I have a thought, a wish, a dream, a desire , what I want Pakistan to look like, what I think should be done and what should not be done. Taking it in this manner I sometimes feel proud on calling myself a small patriot with a dream to change a big nation.

What was the Pakistan our great Quaid-e-Azam wanted?
  •  A Pakistan full of Peace
  •  A Pakistan that reflects one and only one thing *UNITY*
  •   A Pakistan with every minority right
  • A Pakistan which was indestructible
  • A Pakistan a place every single human being would dream to live in.

What I see Pakistan to be today?
  •        Unstable
  •        Unsafe
  •       Under developed country

Few days back due to transport unavailability, I had to walk back home from a friend’s house. Those 15mins of walk were the main motivating factor to me for writing this article. In those 15mins I saw a society of so much hatred, jealousy, anger and greed that it cannot be expressed in words. Everyone just wanted to get the maximum comfort in everything regardless of the harm and hinders they were causing to other people. As I started my walk the very first thing I noticed was the wild traffic. Traffic sense was something the traffic was unaware of. Nobody was willing to give a chance to other vehicles on the road and everyone just wanted to fill the space they find on the entire road. 3 lanes are created keeping in view different styles of transport and the speed of the vehicles, but what I experienced showed that 3 lanes and a little rough space at the end of the road was created only because people could show their extra ordinary skills of getting wild to the maximum of their capacity. Anyhow I continued walking towards my destination, and the next thing I noticed was that a big black pole with red, yellow and green rings was standing right beside the road. To my sadness however it was exhausted and was sleeping, ignoring it immediately I looked right underneath it. A man with sky blue uniform was standing with a clear confused expression. This police officer was alone vs. approximately 50 cars. I stopped to look at the conclusion of what was going on. The police officer was trying to control the uncontrollable traffic and was clearly failing in his attempts. At this moment I had a mix feeling, I was sad because of the illiteracy the traffic was showing, I was angry because I was thinking if I was driving one of the cars stuck over there, I would have been doing the same thing. With these mixed feelings still in my mind and heart, I decided to leave it up to the police officer to handle and I continued my journey. on the foot path I was walking on, I saw broken pieces of glass, I saw litter and the most unusual thing I saw was a drug addict sleeping in the middle of the foot path care free about his life, and the whole world. I crossed everything thinking that in what way I could have helped that man. Anyhow before reaching my house there were millions of small issues that I saw and noticed and thought of. I saw fights, animal abuse, discrimination at every level; richer proving his ownership on poor, public transport loaded with people to such an extent that I guess even air could not pass easily from it. people were throwing things out from the window, small poor children were bare foot, naked sitting at the road sides,  traffic signals were not working, child labor was at its peak, there was in short mess and mess and mess everywhere. I entered my house and I all I could see was cleanliness, all I could hear was silence, all I could smell was fragrance. What was all this? Why was my own personal house so beautiful? Why was everything so messy outside my house?
These were the questions that struck my mind like an atom bomb. A unexplainable but a very strong urge grew in me. I needed the answers to these questions immediately. Through my research and my experience the answers I could come up with were very simple. In fact to all the questions I had one answer. Look highlighting issues of Pakistan just to present a negative image of it is very easy, but I am highlighting the issues of Pakistan so that we can work together on it and IN SHA ALLAH remove them from this country. The answer I generated is very simple:

FOLLOW THE TEACHINGS OF HOLY QURAN!
HOLY QURAN is a book without a single mistake. It is a book in which you can find even the solution to the smallest issue. It was told 1400 years ago that there is a Moon, a Sun, Planets, Stars, and about earth, about the shape of Earth. It was told that the most pure water present on this earth is ABB-E-ZAM ZAM. And in recent times through study the western scientist have authenticated all these facts. The thing I want to explain over here is, that we are blessed that we have a country named on Islam, a country made for Muslims majorly. Why are we not following the teachings of our religion about society, about rights of others, and about the way to live this mortal life? The people of the west are prosperous, intelligent and extensively developed just because they are following exactly the same things our religion ask us to do.
Patience is the first thing to be developed. Have u ever thought that if you stop at a signal, maintain your lane, and give way to others, and in this process you loose 2 minutes of your life, what is going to happen? Nothing!! Right? Islam teaches us to provide ease to others.
What will happen if we pack the litter in a shopping bag and throw it in a just bin? Just a little effort!! Right?
If we mute the sound system while crossing a mosque, if we stop the car for some pedestrians to cross, if we just take out 3minutes to offer SALAT, if we start taking action against child and animal abuse, if we start getting knowledge and start spreading awareness, if we simply start caring about our country, city, society just as we care about our houses we live in. what will happen? Just a Little more effort!! Right?

I, Faizan Ahmed Khan wish for a Pakistan! Do you?

Think For Pakistan!
Think For Yourself!
Think For Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah!

Loadshedding In Pakistan

While nations in the western move towards enlightenment, Pakistan is going towards darkness. The nation struggling at the arms of ruined and corrupt political figures and terrorism has much graver problems and one of them is fill losing. It is the Modern day and there is no power in Pakistan! People are weeping their minds and hearts out at the front side of the govt to provide them with the primary requirement of power but the govt seems to have no idea about how to fix this problem.

From day one of the load shedding till now there is no end t it. The use of electricity generators and UPS have increased but the people who can't afford such things are still living their life in darkness. they face a lot of difficulties like studying at night when there is no light or even in the morning time in hot summer days studying under no fans is really a hard job for the students and they are then unable to focus completely on studies . How the children of such poor and middle class people will get education correctly.?

Attributing the shortfall to previous governments, Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira said that the real cause of load shedding was that no electricity projects had been initiated between 1996 and 2008, adding that since 2007, there has been an annual increase of 1,600MW in electricity demand.
Kaira, however added that Pakistan faced little load shedding compared to other South-East Asian countries. He stated that these countries were facing a shortfall of around 4,000MW.
As Pakistan faces several problems, the problem of load shedding too should be given top priority by the government officials. It's time the politicians start acting in order to solve the general problems of the people of Pakistan rather than fighting for getting into power and doing nothing.

REJECTION OF CORRUPT ELECTORAL SYSTEM

As a democratic nation which has the right to vote a number of people are seriously considering NOT voting in the upcoming elections. There are a number of reasons for this, some argue that faces will change yet the system will remain corrupt. Others do not see a viable candidate to take Pakistan out of the mess it currently is tangled in. Finally a popular thought process is that the system itself is the root of all evil as it is allowing corruption to prosper and flourish rather than those people abusing it (in essence the system in place currently promotes and allows corruption to continue not the leaders themselves). I have heard from numerous people that the reason leaders continue to abuse is because the system allows them to do so. The undeniable truth is that unlike other democracies, in Pakistan only a select few can stand for elections, those who are rich or those who have vast extensive financial backing. The common man, or even a well-educated talented person quite clearly cannot run to represent their constituents and fellow people. As mentioned earlier a number of people want to reject this elitist, monopolistic system and protest until a new mandate is made where the politics is more transparent and is inclusive of all people.

Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri is one of these people who wants the nation as a whole to fight against this. Dr Qadri himself has openly stated that neither PPP, MQM, PTI, ML and so forth are the enemy of the people but the enemy is this corrupt system.

Some points he has made are as follows
- The Severe decline in voting numbers from 1977 onwards is due to people's perception of an entirely corrupt institution which only breeds further corruption.
- That no politician has a manifesto which they rely upon- even those who do never fulfill those promises. In democracies across the world a politicians manifesto is regarded as his/her bible.
- The 5-10% elite in society have always benefited at the expense of the rest of the nation.
- The millions spent by candidates to ensure victory. If milloins are spent then inevitably that money will be recouped at the expense of the nation. Due to this people with no financial backing simply cannot compete.
- The need to implement proportional representation.
- The issue of winning horses whereby the winners whore themselves to the highest bidder to secure their alliance.
- That Pakistan is close to a failed state and that continual military intervention in the past has been due to the failings of poor leaders.
- That even 100 elections will not bring the desired result as the system needs an overhaul not the leadership.

There are a number of other issues highlighted by Dr Qadri, however I have just provided a taster of the picture he is trying to portray. He has hence instructed the nation to come in its millions to protest at Minar-e-Paksitan on the 23rd of December 2012.

Currently Pakistan lacks a leader. Sadly 65 years ago a charismatic leader with his people were in search of a nation. 65 years on a Nation is hunting for a leader. I will not say Dr Qadri is that leader, maybe it could be someone else- however the efforts of this man are unmatched and unquestionable. Although seen as just an Aalim, he has gone around the world propagating the true reality of Islam. He has authored in excess of 1200 books on various topics from classical Islam, Islam and Science, The economic downturn of Pakistan and so forth. He is widely regarded as a man of authority who is loyal, dedicated and trustworthy. He is well versed in economics, social welfare, humanitarian aid and this is evident in this organization Minhaj-ul-Quran. Dr Qadri's Fatwa on Terrorism alone has been given worldwide acclaim and appreciation. It has been translated in to numerous languages and as a great literary work can undoubtedly solve the issue of terrorism, state funded terrorism and the radicalization of youth. Should our nation not be looking at individuals like this to take us out of the abyss we are currently engulfed in?

I hope you will be in attendance to see what the 23rd of December will hold. It may or may not bring about the change a lot of people crave but will the stature Dr Qadri possesses and as a rare Pakistani viewed positively in the world media, would you not agree that his ideas should be given a chance?
